Performances
These are two performances are two pieces that are in different style and can show my albites in different ways. These are also the performances I am most proud of.
Concerto - Friedebald Grafe
This performance was in the spring of my sophomore year, in 2023. This was my first time ever playing a concerto. I played all 12 mins of it front to back. At the time it was a difficult challenge to stay focused on a piece for that long period of time and keep the momentum going. This was the first time I felt proud of piece and actually felt like a true performer.
Fantasy for Trombone - James Curnow
This performance was also in the spring semester but it's in my junior year in 2024. This performance is my best performance to date. There were many elements that I worked so hard on, such as intonation, style articulations, and just overall playing more confidently. This performance shows all the hard work that I did. It is the performance I am most proud of.
